Wild Night on Ossabaw: New Year’s Eve Overnight Trip
(OSSABAW ISLAND, GEORGIA) Spend New Year’s Eve on Ossabaw Island on the Georgia coast, on an overnight trip featuring a nature walk through Ossabaw’s maritime forest, a short history walking tour, and s’mores and tales of Ossabaw Island around the fire pit after dinner. Featuring a “farm-to-table” dinner catered by Lesley Varnadore. Plus a champagne toast under the stars to welcome 2020. Your first meal of the new year will be a hearty breakfast feast on Wednesday morning.
Date: Tuesday, 12/31/2019, 1pm (depart for the island) – Wednesday, 1/1/2020, 11:00am (leave the island)
Location: Ossabaw Island, Georgia. Depart and return via Delegal Creek Marina, 1 Marina Drive, Skidaway Island, Savannah, Georgia.
Hosted by: The Ossabaw Island Foundation.
Who should attend: All are welcome. Minors must be accompanied by supervising adult.
Fee: All fees include accommodations, two meals, programming, and transportation to/from Ossabaw Island via pontoon boat (provided by Bull River Cruises, Captain Mike Neal.)
$175 per person for camping (bring your own tent)
$250 per person for Club House (shared dormitory-style accommodations)
$350 per person for Boarding House (shared accommodations in semi-private room. Two people per room.)
$600 per person for Boarding House guaranteed private/single person room.
