Draken Harald Hårfagre – The largest viking ship in the world
This is a modern recreation of a historic design.
A typical Viking cargo ship used for trade and exploration. That is why she is wide, for greater holding capacity. A fighting ship would be more narrow for speed.
Her sailing speeds are a bit over 11 knots. With a 300 square meter sail.
